This smells of Port and raisin, with tanned leather as well. Totally decadent. Full-bodied, offering wonderful fruit and a blockbuster palate of chewy rich tannins. What outrageous opulence and wonder. Shows so much fruit, with mature and aged character, with a soft, yet chewy palate. An old style of great wine. This may end up being the ‘new’ legendary 1970.
