Clear red. Nose of leather, earth and coffee. As many 1988 Pomerols the Gazin is dry, tannic, acidic and a bit out of synch. At the same time the wine is very smooth and fun to drink. A good food companion to drink now. This wine will still hold up for a few years. (cellartracker)
