Excellent. Smoky tar and rose on the nose with hints of leather. Surprisingly cherry laden, energetic palate with lots of dark earthy secondary notes and more leather. Good length, mild peppery finish. Very enjoyable, only bottle I’ve had from Gaja in this underestimated vintage.
