The 2016 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur is a rich, exotic rendition of this great bottling, exhibiting aromas of honeyed peach, crisp apricot and sweet spices. On the palate, it’s full-bodied, powerful and layered, with a deep and ample mid-palate, concluding with a long, saline finish. It’s a textural, gourmand Valmur that I suspect may resemble the 2001 vintage when it reaches maturity
