Aromas of cassis, cardamon, cloves, tobacco and smoke. Medium body. Lively and well sanded tannins. Beautiful blackcurrant acids and walnut bitterness. Palate of blackcurrant preserve, cedar, cinnamon, juniper berry and black tea.
A mature, elegant and complex Medoc with still lively dark fruit, fine acidity and gorgeous spicy and smoky finish. Grave-like in style. Drink within 5-10 years. Tasted 2024. (cellartracker)
