Double decanted prior to leaving for dinner. Silky and perfumed. The oak is still an element leading into the herbal, floral cherry Franc fruits. A bit of dusty tannin on the finish and just a hint of earthy mineral. It’s really the suave texture of Rougeard that stands out here. In a lovely spot.
