Founded in 1981, Churchill’s began its activity with the production of Port Wine. The acquisition of Quinta da Gricha, in 1999, gave new momentum to the project, positioning itself as a producer of Port and Douro Wines. Today, it is distinguished by the exclusive production of premium category wines. Quinta da Gricha is located on the left bank of the Douro, between Pinhão and the mouth of the Tua, in the heart of the Cima Corgo subregion, and has 40 hectares of vineyard and a winery with granite lagares, dating back to 1852.
