Physique that is both muscular and elegant. Black licorice, violets, berry and cherry aromas abound, with light hints of spices and minerals. Everything is right there in the nose. Full-bodied, with an ultrafine tannin structure and a long-lasting finish. Due to its layers and layers of fine tannins and fruit, this may turn out even better than 1995, but I can’t award it more than 100 points.
