Description
The story begins in 1870. During the war, Joseph Graser fled the Germans and left Alsace, his native region, to walk to Epernay, in Champagne. He died suddenly in the street, aged 44. His son, Armand-Raphaël, had to take over the management of the company and create a wine brokerage company. In 1920, Armand-Raphaël expanded this activity and began producing Graser champagne, which quickly became known as «AR Lenoble». «AR» for his initials and «Lenoble» in honor of the nobility of Champagne wines.
