They appear to be resistant to some of wine’s less-than-smart trends and fads, and the result is a stunning 2012 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary release. It has a dark purple/black color with plenty of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture, and astonishing purity and length. This full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon is both a tribute to this amazing family and a fantastic example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Wonderful!
