Vinification of Carm Reserva Red Wine: bunches that were not in perfect condition were removed, total destemming, gentle crushing and thermal shock, followed by a period of cold pre-fermentative maceration in a lagar for about 12 to 24 hours, after which the musts were transferred to wide and low fermentation tanks, maceration for 8 days at 22ºC. Aging: 18 months in barrels, 70% French Oak (225L) and 30% American Oak (300L).

On the palate it is very concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and smooth texture, a very intense and persistent finish showing strongly the power of the wines from the Superior Douro
Very fresh and intense with notes of wild black fruits and black cherries in balance with seductive nuances of «Liquorice», the aroma being complexed by the notes of the wood
