Summer was particularly hot and dry, bringing an early harvest that began on September 13thand, as it happened, occurred during a rainy period. However, this rain, appearing late in the season, came too late to effect the quality of the grapes.
The Boyd Cantenac 1994 has now abandoned the blue tints of youth. On the palate, the tannins are well-rounded, the finish long and the wine moves us by its finesse and structural harmony.
