Deep, dark ruby-red color is not quite opaque. Aromas are of lovely ripe plums & clean, cedary oak. The palate comprises rich, dark-cherry fruit with good grip & tobacco-leaf notes. Acidity is soft, tannins are supple & while the alcohol is a touch warming & high, it remains pretty-well balanced. the finish has good length. The wine is ripe, attractive & a good example of the wine this estate produces.
